Guidance for separating of waste
You can safely throw a mix of all type of debris in one bag and we will price this as mixed waste. But if you have large quantities of waste, it will be both cost benefiting and environmentally friendly to source separate the waste in different bags. By source separating the waste the recycling facility will reach a higher recycling rate.
You can safely throw a mix of all type of debris in one bag. This can be furniture, cartpet, all types of home appliances, old cans of paint, wood and all other type of waste. The recycling facility will then source seperate the waste on site. The recycling facility sorts and achieves a recycling rate of up to 80%.
Do not throw: Hazardous waste, all current / battery, tire, food or liquid waste
Waste that contains more than 75% lumber by weight or volume. This includes lumber, doors, pallets, firewood, fencing, plywood, lumber used for cement forms and small amounts of painted lumber. Small amounts of metal affixed to the lumber such as nails, hinges or plastics are acceptable.
Do not throw: Pressure-treated lumber, large amount of painted lumber, window frame, railroad ties, flooring (hardwood), wood Shingles. This will be priced as mixed waste
Dry wall, clean
Load containing more than 75% of sheet rock by weight or volume. This material includes source-separated sheetrock and metals with incidental amounts of other debris.
Do not throw: Visqueen, ceiling tiles, wood or other debris. This will be prices as mixed waste.
Brush and yard trimming
Load containing more than 75% of brush by weight or volume. Brush and tree trimmings, branches, tree rounds, tree chips, brush, leaves, and yard trimmings. All materials must be free from dirt. Tree rounds and trees with a length of 4-8’ should have a diameter of no more than 2’. Trees with a length of less than 4’ should have a diameter of no more than 3’.
Do not throw: BRUSH OVERSIZED– All brush and tree-trimmings that did not fit the previous criteria. No fibrous materials. If other debris is present it will be classified as mixed waste. Do not throw huge amounts of palms and ivy. These items are almost impossible to process by the recycling facility.
Concrete and asphalt
Concrete and asphalt with or without wire and rebar, small amount of stucco, brick, adobe and asphalt with Petromat, clay tiles or other inert style of roofing, dirt or sod.
Do not throw: Contaminated masses, organic material or other waste such as plaster, plastic, etc. If load contains more than 50% dirt and / or base rock, lava rock or other rock materials, do not mix it with concrete or bricks
Stucco, plaster, dirt and bricks
Stucco, plaster, pool plaster, gunite, dirt or bricks.

Deviation and surcharges
We will at the time of pick up check that the content of the sack is according to the order. If the content is not according to the order, the dumpster bag will be priced as mixed waste, and you will be charged for the difference.
If the Yellowsack is placed in such a way that we can not pick up the sack, we will still charge the Transport fee.
Placement of the Yellowsack dumpster bag
We collect the Yellowsack with a crane truck equipped with an articulating knuckle boom, so the Yellowsack must be placed at a maximum of 17 feet from the road without obstacles.
We recommend you place your dumpster bags in the drive way or in a place where the pick up truck will have easy access.
